ABOUT

The Israel Latin America Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1964 with the aim of promoting commercial initiatives on both sides.

Profile

1. It was founded in 1964; it exists for more than 50 years.

2. It is an NGO - Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organization

3. It belongs to the same 160 members who pay annual fee, among them.

   • Companies in the sectors of agriculture, water and energy, telecommunications, educational technology, medical technology, defence and security, importers and others.

   • National and foreign banks, finance companies and credit insurance.

   • Professionals: Lawyers, accountants, economists and others.

   •  Special institutions such as the Technion, Institute of Physical Education and Galille Wingate College.

   • Companies working in Aviation and Travel Agencies

4. It offers its members: information services, business opportunities, looking for potential customers, agents and partners in Latin America.

5. The Chamber works with the Bilateral Chambers of Latin America and Spain and also with local chambers. It maintains permanent contact and work together with Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Industry, Imports Institutes both national and international.

6. Maintains permanent contact with Banks and Credit Institutions abroad as CADIBI-IADB-ProMexico - Bank of Ancient & Barbado and Bank of de Curasao

7. Organizes seminars, workshops, round tables, foreign delegations receptions, organizes delegations abroad, and organizes meetings business to business.

8. Edit magazines in the field of Agriculture, Water and Energy, Medical Technology Security and Defence, Tourism and Telecom. In addition, the House produces a monthly newsletter in Spanish, Portuguese (for Brazil) and English aimed at Latin America, Spain, Los Angeles and Miami.

9.  It offers Spanish courses for Business.
